  • For use on all standard and commercial gas lamps using inverted gas mantles.

Installation Instructions for Auto-Form (Soft Inverted) Gas Light Mantles
  1. Keep Lamp Valve in off position.
  2. Carefully remove gas mantle from package only touching the ring.
  3. Insert ceramic ring on burner nozzle.
  4. Gently pull down mantle fabric from proper shaping.
  5. Burn off coating by lighting bottom of mantle. After igniting coating of mantle let cool for two to three minutes. Caution when mantle is burnt fabric becomes fragile.
  6. Turn on gas valve and light mantle, mantle will then shape to proper form.
  7. Mantle must burn for several hours to produce full brilliancy and proper forming.
